Best lineup strategy for Broncos-Jets Madden simulation Showdown

We break down ideal picks for Thursday’s Broncos-Jets Showdown contest on DraftKings.

The Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets will face off in a simulated Madden 20 game Thursday, and DraftKings will have DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal showdown lineup strategy for the contest, which you can play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Pick

Noah Fant, Broncos ($10,800)

Fant has hit double-digit DK points in six of his last seven games. He’s also hit highs of 23.6 and 27.6 over his last four matchups. The Jets have a poor pass defense overall, and Fant should have a shot at some big plays on the road, where he’s caught eight of his 11 touchdowns and averaged 3.6 more DK points than at home.

Flex Men

Courtland Sutton, Broncos ($10,000)

Sutton is the highest ceiling play going in this matchup and I could see moving him to the Captain’s slot for more safety and upside than Fant. He also caught seven passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns when these teams met last time.

Ryan Griffin, Jets ($8,000)

Griffin has cooled down of late by not hitting double-digits over his last four games. Before that, he’d been on fire, which gives me hope that he won’t be as heavily rostered. He’s averaging over four receptions a game through 35 games.

Drew Lock, Broncos ($10,200)

Lock has been pretty poor in the simulation, but he did have a big game the last time these two teams met. He threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns in that game. As long as I’m leaning toward the Broncos passing game, I might as well lock in Lock as well.
