The Kansas City Chiefs vs. New Orleans Saints will face off in a simulated Madden 20 game Thursday, and DraftKings will have DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal showdown lineup strategy for the contest, which you can play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Pick

Michael Thomas, Saints ($14,400)

The last time these two teams met it was a high scoring affair. The usual suspects did there thing, with Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Drew Brees and Thomas all putting up big numbers. We can’t afford all of them, but Thomas has big upside and I’ll take him at home over Tyreek Hill, who will need to match up with Marcus Lattimore.

Flex Men

Drew Brees, Saints ($10,400)

Brees threw for 360 yards and four touchdowns when these teams met many moons ago in the simulation. I’m leaning on the Saints studs for the stack here and Brees is the king pin. Brees is slightly better in the home dome with just two interceptions in 18 games.

Alvin Kamara, Saints ($8,800)

The Chiefs are weak against receiving backs due to their slow linebackers. Kamara caught a touchdown against them in Kansas City and should be set up for a good game. He’s off of his hot streak where he was topping 20 DK points with ease for a while, but that upside is still there and this is a matchup that could help him reach big numbers.

Demarcus Robinson, Chiefs ($5,200)

Robinson is hard to fade in this matchup, as he is cheap and consistent. Robinson also has some nice upside, as he’s hit highs of 34.6. 25.5, and 34.8 DK points over his last ten games.
