UPDATE: The cut looks like it will settle at +3. That means Tiger Woods (+3) will make the cut. It also means he’ll have one of the earlier tee times on Saturday. Woods will tee off at 8 a.m. Full tee times below.

The PGA Tour is headed into the weekend at Muirfield Golf Club for the Memorial Tournament, and it’s been rough-sledding for a large chunk of the field. The cut line is sitting in the plus side of things as the second round moves along. It has moved between +2 and +3 most of the day as the remaining golfers on the course are into the back nine of their Friday round.

Tee times and groupings in the first two rounds of PGA tournaments using a merit system based on a player’s status on the Tour. Tee times and groupings for the third and fourth rounds of tournaments are based on the leaderboard in the preceding round.

But for this event, three of the four players in the PGA Tour’s “Timed Out” policy regarding Covid-19 made the cut. And so Dylan Frittelli, Harris English, and Denny McCarthy will play as singles. Their being alone also forces Patrick Reed to play without a partner and open the day with just an official scorer walking with him. If Graeme McDowell had made the cut, he’d of been in the same position because his caddy tested positive as well.

As of this article publishing, Ryan Palmer and Tony Finau are tied atop the leaderboard at -9. Jon Rahm follows at -8, and then Gary Woodland, Chez Reavie, and Luke List are tied for fourth at -6. Tiger Woods finished his day at +3 and is waiting to see if he’ll make the cut. It currently is at +3, but with 13 golfers on the course at +2 or +3, plenty can change.

The Saturday tee times will go in reverse order of finish. Palmer and Finau will be the final pair teeing off on Saturday. Rahm will then be paired with either Woodland, Reavie, or List, and then the last two will be paired.

Here are the tee times, including players that will be singles due to Covid-19 precautions, for the third round of The Memorial Tournament.
