The New York Giants and Los Angeles Chargers will face off in a Sunday Madden sim at 2:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contests centered around the game. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

Daniel Jones is far from a scrub in Madden sims, but I don’t trust him or his receivers to produce against Los Angeles’ talented secondary. Although there are plenty of options for the young signal caller to throw to, the Chargers’ defensive backs are more impressive than Jones’ targets. Although Joey Bosa is manning the defensive line, Saquon Barkley ($14,400) could still be very productive. He won’t be limited to rushing and could be a valuable escape outlet for when Jones is dealing with a dangerous pass rush.

I’d have my eye on Mike Williams ($11,100) for the Chargers in this matchup. The WR2 has been a touchdown machine this year and is on par with Keenan Allen in terms of DKFP per game. Plugging him in as your captain will give you the ability to fill the flex with highly rated players.

Flex Men

Hunter Henry ($6,800) and Evan Engram ($8,200) are both quality tight ends that can make an impact underneath. Engram has an edge in speed and has the best hands on his team, but Hunter is in the more dangerous passing offense. Austin Ekeler ($3,000) is a quality value play worth considering because of his PPR upside. He’s one of the highest rated RB2s in the game for a reason.
