The Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns will face off in a Monday Madden sim at 12:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contests centered around the game. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

There are a lot of solid captain’s options in this game, and most of them are on the Browns. Neither side has been very good on defense, but I like the Odell Beckham Jr.’s ($15,900) matchup with Raiders defensive backs more than anything here. No player in this game should be able to compete with him on long balls, and that bodes well for Baker Mayfield’s production ($15,300). Getting both these players in your lineup seems like must-haves against.

The other option I’d consider is Nick Chubb ($14,100). The Raiders are also lacking on the defensive line and at linebacker, so it beating up against them shouldn’t be too tough for one of the top rated running backs in Madden. Even if he does split time with Kareem Hunt, he has a good chance to be worth his high price.

Flex Men

Darren Waller ($8,800) has proven to be one of the most capable tight ends this sim season and could very well tear up Cleveland’s abysmal defense. He has plenty of speed and receives are large share of Derek Carr’s throws. Jarvis Landry ($7,400) is one of the most capable WR2’s you’ll see. If you find a combination that works for you, stacking him with Mayfield and OBJ could be ideal.
