The Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos will face off in the snow for a Madden sim Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.

Captain’s Picks

Noah Fant, Broncos ($9,900)

Fant is the cheapest player in this matchup I’d use in the Captain’s spot and that’s usually the guy I end up using. He has good upside with a 23.6 and 27.6 DK points games over his last six and has been consistent, especially considering his price. A dud is a possibility, but the Browns and Broncos are both poor defenses in the simulation and I want to have some cap room available.

Odell Beckham Jr., Browns ($10,600)

Beckham Jr. has one of the highest DK points upsides in the simulation and he’s shown it of late, hitting 35.5, 23.5, 57.9, 34.4, 24.1, and 22.1 over his last ten games. The Broncos defense has given up 30, 28, 28, 21, 24, and 35 points over their last six games and they have just five turnovers and 25 sacks in 17 home games. Baker Mayfield should have time to hit his No. 1 receiver in this matchup.

Jarvis Landry, Browns ($7,600)

Landry hasn’t shown enough upside to justify his price, but he’s been consistently hitting double-digits of late. He’s topped 13 DK points over his last five games and it’s tough to find that in this matchup.

Phillip Lindsay, Broncos ($8,800)

Lindsay is hit and miss, but this is a good matchup and Lindsay does have good upside into the mid twenties in DK points and outlier games in the 30s and 40s. The Browns run defense can been beaten and in a snow game we might see more running.
