The 42-year-old from Brasilia, Brazil is 25-7 as a cagefighter, and is 15-6 in the promotion and is coming off two straight wins. Though he’s never fought for a title, the stalwart is playing gatekeeper here to an up and coming talent as he heads to the next phase of his career. He lands 3.13 significant strikes per minute, and 1.02 takedowns per full-length bout, and has 13 stoppages amongst his 25 wins.
Herbert is 10-1 with nine career stoppages, and is the former Cage Warriors lightweight champion, which is the best independent promotion in Europe. The former scaffolder has won six straight fights, and makes his UFC debut after originally being booked to open his account in London. The 32-year-old from Wolverhampton likes to use his fists, with eight of his nine stoppages coming via KO or TKO.
