The Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings will face off in a Madden sim Thursday at6 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.
Robert Woods, Rams ($7,200)
Woods has topped double-digit DK points in five straight games and has three touchdowns in his last three. He has similar upside to the other Rams receivers but doesn’t have quite the price. He makes for a good upside and decent floor player in the Captain’s slot.
Dalvin Cook, Vikings ($9,800)
Cook has been one of the safer running backs during the simulation while also having good top scores. He scored three touchdowns the first time these two teams met and has the safest floor and upside going in this matchup. He’s my Captain’s pick for safety.
Kyle Rudolph, Vikings ($6,200)
Rudolph is my value play, as he averages 10.2 DK points per game at home, Tyler Higbee is right there with him as a value play, but unless you play both, I prefer Rudolph’s matchup a little more.
Adam Thielen, Rams ($8,000)
Thielen is almost a must start at his price. He’s topped 14 DK points in 10 of his last 11 games and has eight touchdowns in that stretch. Stefon Diggs has played better of late, but he’s a little more inconsistent and costs more as well.
