The Carolina Panthers and Las Vegas Raiders will face off in a Saturday Madden sim at 2:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contests centered around the game. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

The Raiders duo of Derek Carr ($16,800) and Darren Waller could both be worth a look if you think the Panthers won’t play well defensively. The two have combined well as a battery thanks to Carr’s accuracy and Waller’s mix of speed and catching. Carolina does a solid job at stopping the run, so the Raiders’ top pass catcher should get plenty of work.

This could very well be a Christian McCaffrey ($15,000) game as well though, as the running back could should have a significant advantage against one of the weaker defenses Madden has to offer. He’s pricey and comes with plenty of risk, but has the highest ceiling of any player.

Flex Men

This is one of the few games where I’d suggest playing D.J. Moore ($9,600). Although it’s rare that he is head and shoulders above other Panthers receivers, he really has a chance to shine against the Raiders secondary. His superstar trait can him excel when running deep routes, so he can rack up DKFP in an instant. Greg Olsen ($6,600) doesn’t have as much big play ability, but his floor and role as a red zone threat can make him useful.
