While real life sports are slowing coming back, DraftKings continues to provide some great sports simulations to fill the void. Each day there are six Madden Streams with eight free contests to be a part of. You can play a single-game Showdown for each contest along with an all-day, six-game classic contest and a three-game late slate.

Each simulation will be played out via an online Madden Stream using Madden 2020 with rosters and ratings from the end of the 2019-20 season. In this format, you can enjoy watching the game stream on the DraftKings YouTube channel, on the DK Live app (download here) or right here in this post. Follow along to watch your fantasy team pile up fantasy points. The stream begins at 12:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 19.

Patrick Mahomes, KC at LAR, $8,000 — I don’t think I have to go out of my way to tell you that Mahomes is the stud of this six-game simulation. He faced these Rams way back in the beginning of these simulations and scored only 15 DKFP, throwing for 227 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. It should be noted that was before we switched over to Arcade mode, which has provided us much more offense. Mahomes has scored at least 31 DKFP in four of his last five games.

Sam Daronold, NYJ vs. WAS, $5,900 — If you want to go off the board and take an extremely low owned quarterback, Darnold is certainly your guy. He’ll draw a very favorable matchup against a poor Washington secondary, which feels like a situation worth taking advantage of. Sure, he’s not a Mahomes or a Lamar Jackson ($7,600) but he’s still averaging 16.4 DKFP with 61 touchdowns thrown through 39 games.

Running Back

Leonard Fournette, JAX at CIN, $6,500 — Fournette continues to be a busy man in this Jaguars offense, averaging 92.2 scrimmage yards per game and 21 touchdowns scored. He gets a ton of work like Dalvin Cook ($6,600) for the Vikings but Cook has yet to make a catch for a touchdown, whereas Fournette has done so four times. The PPR upside is good for both players but we’ve seen it happen for Fournette and not for Cook. These guys are both fairly equal in my eyes but Fournette gets the slightest of slight edges.

Chris Thompson, WAS at NYJ, $3,900 — This slate doesn’t have a ton of value at running back to choose from but Thompson is one of the best in that range. He’s been racking up the fantasy points as of late, scoring double-digit in three straight games, averaging 14.6 in that span. His 44.5 scrimmage yards per game is solid for someone who isn’t even listed at the top of the depth chart and he has nearly as many receiving yards as he does rushing. He’s a great way to save some salary for the rest of your roster without missing out on consistent production.

Wide Receiver

Tyreek Hill, KC at LAR, $7,500 — I can never leave Hill on the board quite simply because of his 99 speed rating, which is the best in all of Madden. Pairing him up with Mahomes in your lineup does make it fairly difficult to construct the rest, as it leaves you with an average of $4,928 for the rest of your roster. With that said, Hill is coming into this game averaging 29.6 DKFP over his last five games. No, that’s not a typo. You can thank his nine touchdowns and three games over 100 receiving yards, including one of 212 yards for that influx in fantasy points.

Damiere Byrd, ARI vs. CLE, $3,000 — With the idea that you’ll be in need of saving some salary, using someone like Byrd will be warranted. He doesn’t have number that’ll blow you away but he has one of the better speeds ratings on this slate and has scored nine touchdowns. He’s averaging only a couple of receptions per game but we’ve also seen him go over double-digit fantasy points as well. For the stone minimum you need to pay for him. He’s more than worthy to use.

Tight End

David Njoku, CLE at ARI, $4,300 — Njoku has quietly been putting together a really solid sim season, averaging 4.7 receptions, 56.2 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns scored. When we talk about some of the better tight ends in these sims, Njoku is not usually one that comes up. I like how cheap he is as well and it allows you to save some salary and pay up at some of the other positions. The Cardinals also can’t defend anything or anyone, so this should be an amazing spot for him to produce.

James O’Shaughnessy, JAX at CIN, $3,600 — As you can see, the tight end position is not one you have to spend the big bucks at. O’Shaughnessy has made at least one reception each game, averaging 4.1 with 55.5 yards and 11 touchdowns scored. He easily should be more expensive with those numbers so I consider this a gift with how cheap he is. While the sexier names will dominate the ownership, O’Shaughnessy should provide enough production at his price point to be worth it.

Lions DST vs. TB, $2,900 — I always fill in my D/ST last as these are by far the most volatile plays on these slates. For me, I’m always trying to target turnovers so who better to go against than Jameis Winston ($6,300). Through 39 games, he’s thrown 19 interceptions, which as you can imagine, is the highest on this slate.
