The Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers will play Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET. Left-hander Madison Bumgarner will meet righty Lance Lynn, as these teams meet at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. DraftKings will have Showdown DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal lineup strategy below, and you can play here.

Captain’s Picks

Lance Lynn, SP, Rangers: $16,500

Lynn started the 2020 season on a high note, as he struck out nine, allowing no runs through six innings against the Rockies last Friday. Today he’ll face an Arizona team that has struck out over 25 percent of the time when facing right-handers and have a .270 OBP and .249 wOBA against them so far this season.

Utility Picks

Joey Gallo, OF, Rangers: $8,800

Madison Bumgarner had a good start to his stint with the Diamondbacks, as he threw five scoreless innings, but was ultimately chased from the game in the sixth by the Padres. Gallo is a lefty smasher despite being a lefty himself, with a massive .332 ISO through 393 plate appearances against the left hand of darkness. He hasn’t had much chance to face lefties so far this season, but in two chances, he already has a homer.

Nick Solak, OF, Rangers: $7,600

Solak is part of a big group of outfielders who will find some starting spots here and there. The good news for Solak is that he’s great against lefties and hopefully will get a start against Bumgarner. Solak hasn’t had many major league at bats against lefties, but does have a .428 wOBA in 58 plate appearances.

Kole Calhoun, OF, Diamondbacks: $7,800

Calhoun will likely sit against lefties, but he still has some charge in his bat against righties. Last season he hit 23 home runs against right siders and had an ISO of .245. He’s boom or bust, but does have a home run against a righty already this season.
