The 2020 WNBA season tipped off on Saturday, July 25th, and the race is on in the abbreviated schedule. The league will play 22 games this season, followed by its traditional playoff format featuring eight teams. The entire season is taking place in a bubble (or “wubble”) at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
We’ll be tracking the full season, with a look at standings through the 22 games. The Seattle Storm entered the season as the favorite to win the title. We’ll be following along all season to see how the Storm handle expectations with Sue Bird returning to join Breanna Stewart in what is looking like a stacked rotation.
