Kevin Harvick is the NASCAR Cup Series’ points leader and tallied a win and second place last weekend at Pocono Raceway. Now he’ll compete in the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 Sunday, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Can he keep his hot streak going? We’ll evaluate his DFS upside here.

History at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Harvick has notched two top five finishes in his last three races at Indianapolis. He has the best career average finishing position (8.95) in the field with two wins, seven top five finishes, and 13 top 10 finishes in 19 starts.

2020 performance

Harvick is second in wins with three and third in top five finishes (8). He’s only finished outside the top 10 three times in 17 races. Harvick has been one of they more consistent drivers we’ve seen this year and leads second place Denny Hamlin by 52 points.

Daily fantasy advice

Harvick should be one of the most popular plays in this slate. I’d say to go with the chalk in this situation. His momentum and recent success should make him one of the most coveted picks available. Paying up for the favorite (+400) makes sense here, as there’s a pretty small chance he’ll drop outside the top five. His worst he’s finished is sixth since 2017.
