Captain
Willian ($18,600)
Willian has scored three goals in two Premier League games now. He has been given starting time on the pitch, which aids his style of play. Out of those three goals, two have been penalties. He has been a steady option for manager Frank Lampard on either flank and it’s unlikely to see him on the bench while he’s at this level of form. He has averaged 13.8 DKFP per game, highest in this contest.
Others to consider: Christian Pulisic ($15,600)
High-priced flex options
Christian Pulisic ($10,400)
Pulisic overcame a minor injury in time for the London derby against West Ham. He wasn’t able to score but he still showcased his skill and quality. He has scored seven goals this season, two of which have come after the restart, against Aston Villa and a sensational goal against Manchester City.
Mason Mount ($9,400)
Mount started on the bench against West Ham and after a loss, he should return right back into the starting XI for this game. Chelsea will be grateful to its youngsters for stepping up in one of the most challenging seasons ever. It hasn’t even felt like the team has struggled and players like Mount can take a lot of credit for that. He has scored six goals this season.
Tammy Abraham ($9,000)
Abraham will be keen to finish off this season the way he started. He has racked up 13 goals in the EPL this season but he has lost some of that fluency with injury and loss of form. After two games on the bench, he was back in the starting XI against West Ham. That should continue on Saturday against Watford.
Others to consider: Olivier Giroud ($9,200).
Value flex options
Ismaila Sarr ($8,600)
Down the right wing, Sarr has been a real asset for Watford. Even though Watford hasn’t been as consistent as the team would have desired, Sarr has done his bit to try and turn that around. He has chipped in with five goals, second most for Watford after Troy Deeney (six goals, $6,200). Sarr can also be considered a hedge against Chelsea winning comfortably.
Marcos Alonso ($8,200)
Chelsea is fourth from the top. Watford is fourth from the bottom. Chelsea has conceded 44 goals this season in 32 games. Watford has scored just 29. Those are stark differences. This means it’s highly unlikely that Watford will score against Chelsea away from home. Alonso is a solid attacking option considering he has scored four goals already with two assists as well.
Others to consider: Cesar Azpilicueta ($7,200).
