The WNBA is headed into its second week of play in the 2020 wubble season and wrapping up its third round of games. The 22-game season for each of the 12 teams provides us with a daily triple-header six days a week.

Friday evening gets started with the New York Liberty and Atlanta Dream facing off at 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV. That’s followed at 8 p.m. by the Indiana Fever and Dallas Wings tipping off on CBS Sports Network. The evening wraps with the Las Vegas Aces and Phoenix Mercury tipping off at 10 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

We’ll be keeping an eye on things this season, and want to give a big shout-out to Matt Ellentuck and his Here’s Basketball newsletter for providing some critical insight into the W.

New York Liberty vs. Atlanta Dream

Time: 7 p.m.
Channel: NBA TV
Live stream: WNBA League Pass
Point spread: Dream -5.5
Money line odds: Liberty +180, Dream -230

The Liberty are not a good team, but Sabrina Ionescu had a huge breakout in just her second game of the season. She scored 33 points in a 13-point loss. The Liberty won’t win many games this season, but even with inconsistent play, Ionescu will be fun to watch. The Liberty face a Dream squad that looked good against Dallas in its opener, but then were thumped by Las Vegas in their second game. With multiple players absent from the wubble, it’s going to be a very inconsistent season.

Indiana Fever vs. Dallas Wings

Time: 8 p.m.
Channel: CBS Sports Network
Live stream: CBS Sports Network, WNBA League Pass
Point spread: Wings -2.5
Money line odds: Fever +115, Wings -143

The Fever were thumped by Washington and then edged out Phoenix. With those two teams seemingly headed in opposite directions right now, it’s hard to tell just what to make of Indiana. Teira McCowan had a big game off the bench against Phoenix, with 20 points and 13 rebounds, and is seemingly ready to settle into a starting role. Dallas had five players score in double digits against New York, putting together a balanced attack led by Arike Ogunbowale’s 20 points. This is a game in which Dallas can build some momentum.

Las Vegas Aces vs. Phoenix Mercury

Time: 10 p.m.
Channel: CBS Sports Network
Live stream: CBS Sports Network, WNBA League Pass
Point spread: Aces -5.5
Money line odds: Aces -230, Mercury +180

Phoenix is looking significantly worse than people expected, dropping a 106-100 loss to Indiana. Bria Hartley impressed off the bench with 26 points in 25 minutes, but Diana Taurasi struggled on offense. She managed five assists and four steals, but could only score six points. Meanwhile, the Aces bounced back in a big way, thumping Atlanta behind A’ja Wilson scoring 21 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Dearica Hamby scored 20 off the bench in the win.
