It’s become an unlikely but beloved tradition every year as tens of thousands of people head to Coney Island in Brooklyn to watch people stuff their face with as many questionable sandwiches as possible in ten minutes at Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs. But in 2020 there will be no screaming crowds cheering on the contestants, nor the infamous oppressive midsummer heat of New York City beating down on them either.

And that means opportunity for you when making choices in DraftKings Sportsbook’s Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest pool for $25,000. The rules are simple; answer eight questions correctly, and head home with your share of $25,000, which is more than the winners of the contest earn as they only receive $10,000! And you won’t need to stuff 16 pounds worth of salted meat and buns in your stomach either!

Here’s a few tips for some of the questions available:

Will Joey Chestnut win?

It’s not if, it’s by how much. The 12-time champion is in form, and is the Bill Russell’s Celtics of this event. He’s only lost once during his reign, and the 2015 champion Matt Stonie won’t be participating this year. Take Chestnut, as the only question should be if he breaks his own world record.

Over 72.5
Under 72.5

Normally this event requires contestants to be outside in the brutal sun while thousands cheer them on to victory. But not in 2020, where it takes places in an “undisclosed location” we know to be inside with air conditioning while being socially distant. Taking away the elements should favor Chestnut, who can focus on what he does best: Stuffing meat and carbs down his throat as quickly as possible. His world record is 74, so we’re going over.

Will anyone eat 80 or more Hot Dogs?

Even under the controlled conditions, this might be asking too much. 80 requires one hot dog to be consumed every 7.5 seconds, bun included. That’s almost a physical issue with your hands getting that many to your gullet in time. We’re under here.

Men’s Division winning margin?

0-5 hot dogs
6-11 hot dogs
12-17 hot dogs
18+ hot dogs

The competition in this sport gets better every year, but it’s still not where it needs to be where someone can stay within striking distance of Chestnut. He wins comfortably, but doesn’t lap the field of crowd favorite Badlands Booker, partner of the mustard belt holder and women’s champion Miki Sudo in Nick Wehry, George Chiger, or Darron Breeden.
