The National Hockey League and its Players Association announced on Monday a tentative agreement on a “Return To Play Plan,” along with an extension of the collective bargaining agreement.
Under the plan, formal training camp will begin on July 13th, clubs will travel to the hub cities on July 26th, and the qualifying round will start on August 1st. The agreement is subject to approval by the NHL’s Board of Governors and the NHLPA’s Executive Board, followed by the full NHLPA membership.
