iBoy ($11,400)

This is a rare slate where your choice for Captain might come down to who not to pick instead of who to select. Suning’s Huanfeng ($11,700) is the most expensive player in this slate but that game might be quite tight. As a result, Vici’s iBoy might be a solid choice. In many slates, iBoy would not be in the top-five choices for Captain.

Others to consider: Huanfeng ($11,700)

Bin ($6,200)

Bin’s K-D ratio is below 1. That is still acceptable because he has been averaging 2.79 kills per game, mostly in the top lane. From a defensive standpoint, he has been killed an average of 2.84 times per map. He has been averaging 55.1 DKFP per game, highest in this slate. That’s quite a high level of production.

Others to consider: Cube ($6,400)

Wei ($6,400)

If you’re a bit cautious in positions like these, you should have uninhibited access to any player or team in any other category. More on that later in this article. For now, Wei has been solid from the jungle, averaging 3.3 kills and 6.1 assists. His engagements from the flank has helped his laners where necessary. His disengagements have been good, too, leaving him with 2.9 deaths a map.

Others to consider: SofM ($6,800)

Angel ($7,600)

Angel has the best defense in Suning. He has the fewest deaths in his team, averaging 1.89 per map. That’s a big reason for his KDA of 4.61, highest in Suning. He is the team’s most prolific all-round player. His creep score and gold collection metrics have been strong as well. He has averaged 63.9 DKFP per game.

Others to consider: Fenfen ($7,200)

Wink ($7,400)

To be brutally honest, I can’t pick between Wink and Huanfeng ($7,800) with any degree of certainty. In eStar’s previous game, the engagement game just prior to the objective spawn (dragon or baron) was poor. Victory Five punished eStar for that misjudgement. However, I feel eStar and Wink aren’t far off their best. So, this is an instinct choice.

Others to consider: Huanfeng ($7,800)

SwordArt ($5,600)

Normally, you might have been hunting for an inexpensive value choice for support, but not in this slate. You have the luxury to draft any support or team of your choice. SwordArt has over 1 kill and 8 assists per game in this summer season. With 52.3 DKFP per game, he has the most fantasy points for any support player in this slate.

Vici Gaming ($5,200)

Rogue Warriors has just one player who has played all 16 games this split. Rogue Warriors doesn’t have even one player with a KDA of more than 3. That lack of production has hurt its chances. Vici Gaming is in a good position to capitalize on that missing offensive depth.
