Harry Kane ($8,600)
Kane and Tottenham seemed a bit off in their previous game against Everton. It was a fatigued, low-intensity performance from both teams. Tottenham is right back at it a few days later. The management will look at their most prolific offensive player to provide some steam and momentum against a lackluster Bournemouth team.
Others to consider: Dominic Calvert-Lewin ($7,900).
Danny Ings ($7,300)
While the rest of England has focused on the big names, Danny Ings has flown under the radar with some fantastic numbers. He has scored 18 goals this season, fourth highest in the Premier League. He has pounced on any opportunity, in or just outside the box. When he does, he usually gets a shot on target, giving himself a higher chance of adding to his impressive tally.
Son Heung-Min ($10,300)
Son and Hugo Lloris got into an altercation just after the end of the first half. By the end of Tottenham’s game against Everton, everything was made up with hugs and smiles. Son is a fiery character. It doesn’t take much for him to turn red-hot, even with his feet. He has averaged 13.7 DKFP per game, highest in this slate, which is also why he is the most expensive player in this slate.
Richarlison had his opportunities inside the box against Tottenham, but Everton just didn’t find any fluency or rhythm in that game. He will be keen to address that issue against Southampton as Everton returns to Goodison Park. He has scored 11 goals along with three assists this season.
Others to consider: Gylfi Sigurdsson ($7,600).
Lucas Digne ($7,700)
For a team that prefers methodical buildups to goals, Everton has conceded a lot of goals (48 in the EPL). That count was kept to 48 despite a poor performance against Tottenham on the road. Everton will be keen not to concede against Southampton. Digne also usually takes the set-pieces for Everton.
Ryan Bertrand ($5,400)
Like Everton, Southampton has also conceded a lot of goals. However, it was a bad start to the season that is primarily responsible for the total conceded goals of 55 this season. With the quick turnaround for both teams, this could be yet another sluggish encounter. I wouldn’t rule out a goalless draw in this one.
Hugo Lloris ($5,500)
Tottenham has conceded 44 goals this season. The team comes into this on the back of a clean sheet against Everton, which will buoy Lloris from a confidence standpoint. Bournemouth has outright struggled this season with just 27 goals scored. Another clean sheet could be the plausible result.
Others to consider: Jordan Pickford ($5,100)
