Heat vs. Nuggets chalk report: MPJ busts at nearly 60% ownership in main GPP

Michael Porter Jr. is highly owned in the main GPP on DraftKings. Unfortunately, the chalk didn’t hit with other options providing more value.

UPDATE MIA-DEN Final: MPJ finished with 11 points, 3 rebounds, and an assist in 25 minutes to finish with 18.25 DKFP. He was outdone by Craig, who tallied 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists for 25.25 DKFP. Kelly Olynyk sent the nets ablaze by scoring 20 points in the fourth quarter alone and finished with 33.75 DKFP. He was only 0.9 percent owned in the $200K to first contest.

The Denver Nuggets were riddled with injuries ahead of their Saturday matchup against the Miami Heat. Injuries to Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, and Will Barton helped Michael Porter Jr. make his second career start as a pro. He posted a decent line to help his team enter the break with a 57-56 lead.

Porter entered Saturday averaging just under 1.2 DKFP per minute and was able to tally 10.75 fantasy points in 11 first half minutes. He’s on track to go over his season average of 15.6 fantasy points per game if he continues to contribute in the second half. He leads all players with 59.3 percent ownership in the $200K to first GPP Saturday Shootaround on DraftKings and could return solid value thanks to his $3,000 price tag.

Here’s a look at some of the other high-owned options in the contest.

Nikola Jokic ($9,000): 36.9 percent
Jimmy Butler ($7,600): 27.1 percent
Torrey Craig ($3,000): 14.9 percent
