Suns go undefeated in seeding round with win over Mavericks

Phoenix still has hopes of making it into the play-in tournament, but will need help from the Jazz and Nets later on.

The Phoenix Suns finished the seeding round an undefeated 8-0 by beating the Dallas Mavericks 128-102 on Thursday. The Suns need two of the Trail Blazers, Spurs or Grizzlies to lose in order to make it into the play-in tournament for the 8-seed in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies have already defeated the Bucks on Thursday. So if the Blazers and Spurs lose, the Suns will make it into the play-in tournament.

Devin Booker has to be up for Bubble MVP after leading the Suns to an undefeated record in Orlando. He finished with a game-high 27 points with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. This game ended a streak of three games with at least 35 points for Booker, who had made some crazy shots in the bubble.
