The 2020 NBA Playoffs begin on Monday, August 17th after the seeding round wrapped up the regular season with each team playing eight games in the bubble in Orlando. We started with 22 teams and now we’re down to the 16 teams that will compete for the 2020 NBA Championship. The first round of the playoffs kicks off with best-of-7 series in both the Western Conference and Eastern Conference.
The No. 2 seed Los Angeles Clippers will take on the No. 7 seed Dallas Mavericks in a Western Conference first-round series in the NBA bubble. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will try to make a title run starting against Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis.
The Clippers went through most of the seeding round games without their full rotation. They are expected to have Montrezl Harrell, Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams ready to go for the playoffs. The Mavericks have had plenty of players with nagging injuries in the bubble. Kristaps Porzingis, Seth Curry and Dorian Finney-Smith have all missed games recently. Chances are none are serious enough to prevent them from playing in the postseason.
Below is a run down of the Clippers-Mavericks series and how to watch it.
