UPDATE: The final cut line is -3. 77 golfers will make the cut.

The PGA Tour teed off the second round of the 2020 Wyndham Championship on Friday at 7 a.m. ET, although Thursday rain resulted in some additional tee times on Friday. Golfers who had not completed their first round wrapped it up at 7:30 a.m., and with those a wrap, we can start getting to what the cut line looks like.

Tom Hoge, Roger Sloan, and Harold Varner II all dominated in the first round, putting together 62s to set the pace. Hoge and Sloan have started heir second round, while Varner gets going at 1:35 p.m.

The second round is underway with the first half of the field on the course, and the second half getting going starting at 12:15 p.m. We have a long ways to go before the cut is determined today. Potentially over half the field will be cut by the end of Friday, setting the field for the final two rounds.

How is the cut line determined?

The cut line at 36 holes is the top 65 players plus those tied at the end of that group. Some tournaments will have a second cut after day three (54 holes) if that initial group is 78 total players, but the Wyndham Championship does not appear to have that.

What is the cut line for the 3M Open?

5:24 p.m.: The cut line remains at -3, with the final golfers on the final third of the course.

4:02 p.m.: The cut line is back up to -3.

2:58 p.m.: The cut line is -2 with everybody on the course.

2:03 p.m.: The cut line has climbed to -3. The last 11 golfers are teeing off in the next 30 or so minutes.

As of 9:41 a.m. on Friday, the cut line is -2 and 69 golfers are projected to make the cut. 22 golfers are currently at -2, and another 20 are at -1.

Who is not projected to make the cut?

5:24 p.m.: Rory Sabbatini (-2), Bill Haas (-1), Justin Rose (+1), and Brooks Koepka (+2) all remain outside the cut line.

4:02 p.m.: Brooks Koepka is stumbling at +3. Justin Rose is two-under for the day through 11 holes, but still +1 for the tournament.

2:58 p.m.: Jordan Spieth, Wyndham Clark, and Bill Haas are among the golfers at -1.

2:03 p.m.: Sungjae Im, Tommy Fleetwood, and Rory Sabbatini all sit at -2, Brooks Koepka and Jordan Spieth are at +2 after three pars to open their rounds, and Justin Rose has stumbled to +5 for the tournament

Jordan Spieth (E), Tommy Fleetwood (-1), Brooks Koepka (+2), and Justin Rose (+3) are among the golfers outside the cut line who still have to tee off to start the day. Sergio Garcia and Brandt Snedeker are among the golfers on the course at -1 for the time being.
