The Xfinity Cup Series heads to the cathedral of stock car racing in America, but instead of the oval they’ll use the infield for today’s UNOH 188 at Daytona Road Course.
You can set your lineup here, and the contests locks at 3:00 p.m. ET.
Modest Sleepers
Michael Annett ($7,900)
Starts in the seventh spot today, and turned three straight pole positions in to a sixth, eighth, and tenth for an average of 29.3 DFS points each. Has seven Top-10 finishes in his last seven races, and is in an even better position today with the ability to pick up place points if he can beat seventh. Ride the hot racer who has been excellent since the series returned from a Covid hiatus. Also an average finish of 9th at Road America in his last two races, which is helpful today.
Brandon Brown ($6,700)
Trending up with an average of 41 DFS points the last four races. Only has one Top 10 this season, but has finished 11th an amazing four times and twelfth once, which was last week at Road America. Starts in 13th today so there’s a chance to move up from his starting position.
Deep Sleepers
Ryan Sieg ($6,400)
Road racing is a whole different animal, and Sieg moving from 16th to 9th last week at Road America means he might have a much better setup when you turn left occasionally. He’s been up and down on the ovals as well, but did manage a 4th also from the 16th position at Kansas two weeks ago. All signs are pointing towards outperforming that cheap a salary today.
Kyle Weatherman ($5,900)
The problem with bargain hunting in the Xfinity Series is the equipment of drivers is so disparate, you’re really having to hope for wrecks in front of you to find value. And to of course avoid wrecks on your roster as well. Weatherman does tend to end up in the wall a bit, but he also started 32nd and finished 21st at Road America last week. He starts 26th today, and if he can sneak his way into the top-20 you’ll have a nice run for cheap.
