Two exciting lightweights face off to close the preliminaries at UFC 252 tonight as Jim Miller takes on Vinc Pichel. But who is the sharper DFS play?
Jim Miller: $8,300
Vinc Pichel: $7,900
Miller is the underdog on the money line at +105, with Pichel the cheaper buy in DFS but favored at +130.
Jim “A-10” Miller isn’t here for a long time, he’s here for a good time. When he wins, he does it quickly (three of his last four bouts have been first-round stoppage wins), but when he loses he gets to the bar in a hurry as well (two of his last three losses are in the first round losses, 4.5 DFS points average).
Pichel tends to score well when he wins (98 points or more in four of his last five wins), and as the favorite here with a bargain price, he’s likely the way to play. This one won’t need the judges, you’ll just want to be on the guy that gets his hand raised and will have plenty of time for a post-fight tv interview. We’ll go with Pichel because the bettors think that’s most likely to be him.
