The 2020 NBA Playoffs get started on Monday, August 17th. While we should see most lineups at full strength, there will always be notable injuries to cover from game-to-game in each series. Here you’ll be able to find all the latest injury news and updates, plus DFS and betting analysis, for the Los Angeles Clippers as they take on the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs.

Los Angeles Clippers injury updates

Patrick Beverley — Calf (Out)

Update, Aug. 23 — Beverley has been ruled out again for Game 4 vs. the Mavericks on Sunday afternoon.

Update, Aug. 20 — The Clippers are listing Beverley as doubtful for Game 3 vs. the Mavericks on Friday. This is a big bump for the Mavericks’ offense, specifically their guards with Beverley most likely out again. Reggie Jackson, Landry Shamet and Lou Williams should all see additional minutes.

Jackson started in Game 2 and played 26 minutes. Shamet came off the bench and got 18, while Lou Will played the most of the trio at 32. Williams will be an attractive GPP play again on Friday.

Update, Aug. 19 — Beverley has been ruled out for Game 2 vs. the Mavs.

Update, Aug. 19 — Pat Bev is being listed as questionable to play in Game 2 vs. the Mavericks on Wednesday due to a calf injury. If Beverley can’t go, Reggie Jackson and Landry Shamet should get a slight bump in usage. Lou Williams would likely be the crunch time PG. All three would be decent GPP plays. Lou Will becomes an OK cash-game play as well.

Update, Aug. 17 Harrell will play in Game 1 vs. the Mavericks. This will be his first game since returning to the NBA bubble due to personal reasons. He had been in quarantine. Harrell isn’t expected to play a full workload, so we should anticipate a minutes restriction of some sort. Both Shamet and Beverley will play and won’t be limited.

Update, Aug. 16 Shamet, Harrell and Beverley are all listed as questionable for Monday’s opener vs. the Mavericks. Shamet and Beverley are both dealing with injuries, while Harrell is still working his way up to game speed after missing all of the seeding round.
