Update, Aug. 16 — The Sixers won’t have All-Star PG Ben Simmons for the playoffs after he underwent knee surgery. Embiid injured his ankle and then was dealing with a hand ailment. The All-Star C should be fine for Game 1 against the Celtics on Monday.
