The 2020 NBA Playoffs get started on Monday, August 17th. While we should see most lineups at full strength, there will always be notable injuries to cover from game-to-game in each series. Here you’ll be able to find all the latest injury news and updates, plus DFS and betting analysis, for the Houston Rockets as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.

Houston Rockets injury updates

Russell Westbrook — Quad (Out)
Danuel House Jr. — Toe (Will Play)

Update, Aug. 18 — House is available to play in Game 1 vs. the Thunder on Tuesday evening. He wasn’t listed on the injury report for Monday, so this isn’t too surprising. House will be a trendy value play on DraftKings at $5,700 considering how thin the rotation is right now with Westbrook out.

Update, Aug. 17 — House is not listed on the injury report Monday ahead of Tuesday’s playoff opener vs. the Thunder. So it seems House is good to go for Game 1. Other than Westbrook, the Rockets are expected to have everyone ready for the postseason.

Update, Aug. 16 Westbrook could miss up to 2-3 games to start the first round due to a quad strain. House is expected to play in Game 1 vs. the Thunder.
