The 2020 NBA Playoffs get started on Monday, August 17th. While we should see most lineups at full strength, there will always be notable injuries to cover from game-to-game in each series. Here you’ll be able to find all the latest injury news and updates, plus DFS and betting analysis, for the Oklahoma City Thunder as they take on the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs.

Oklahoma City Thunder injury updates

Luguentz Dort — Knee (Will Play)

Update, Aug. 20 — Dort is available to play in Game 2 vs. the Rockets, per coach Billy Donovan.

Update, Aug. 20 — Dort has been upgraded to questionable for Game 2 vs. the Rockets on Thursday. He was initially expected to be sidelined again after missing Game 1. Getting Dort back would be a nice boost for OKC on defense. The Thunder couldn’t stop the Rockets’ barrage of 3-pointers — though Houston didn’t miss much. Dort’s return means a slight downgrade for OKC’s bench, specifically Hamidou Diallo, Andre Roberson and Dennis Schroder.

Update, Aug. 17 — Dort is unlikely to play in Game 1 vs. the Rockets. Dort has been starting at SF for the Thunder. We could see Andre Roberson or Terrance Ferguson start at SF in place of Dort, keeping Dennis Schroder as the 6th man off the bench.

Update, Aug. 16 — CP3 is dealing with a minor injury and should be fine for Game 1 vs. the Rockets. Dort is a little less clear. He has a knee sprain and was held out of the final seeding game. We’ll see what his injury designation is for Tuesday’s game.
