College football may have announced actual schedules earlier, and players might have been in practices since last week. But now you know the 2020 season is potentially for real because we’ve got point spreads!
Week 1 for the SEC will begin on September 26th, and all 14 teams will be in action. There are five games that in a normal year would be considered “crossover games” between East and West Division opponents, and two intradivisional contests (Tennessee vs. South Carolina, Mississippi State vs. LSU). None of the crossover games are the annual traditional rivalry crossover game for any team.
This will be the first week of a 10-game schedule for each team. The 2020 schedule will include a bye week for each program, with the last regular season games to be played on December 5th, and the SEC Championship taking place in Atlanta on December 19th.
Here are the point spreads for Week 1 in the Southeastern Conference from DraftKings Sportsbook:
Alabama -22.5 @ Missouri
Florida -11.5 @ Ole Miss
Georgia -24.5 @ Arkansas
Auburn -7.5 vs. Kentucky
LSU -17.5 vs. Mississippi State
Tennessee -2.5 @ South Carolina
Texas A&M -29.5 @ Vanderbilt
