Draft lottery results: The Warriors will pick No. 2 in the 2020 NBA Draft.

The 2020 NBA Draft Lottery will take place at 8:30 p.m. ET and air on ESPN on Thursday night. The 14 teams who will be in the field are a mix of those left out of the NBA bubble in Orlando and those sent home early. The format for the draft lottery is much different this year. Teams at the top have a more even shot at landing the first overall pick. Let’s take a look at the Golden State Warriors odds to land the No. 1 pick. We’ll update this with results after the lottery, plus analysis on who the team should think of drafting.

Golden State Warriors NBA Draft Lottery Odds, Results

The Warriors have a 14% chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft after finishing with the worst record in the NBA at 15-50 this season. The Warriors are +500 on DraftKings Sportsbook to win the No. 1 overall pick.

Who should the Warriors select with the No. 2 overall pick?

Best. Player. Available. Really there isn’t much difference if you’re the Dubs between the top players in the draft. Picking up any of LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards or Obi Toppin would be huge for Golden State. The Dubs are already looking at making a title run in 2020-21 with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green all healthy. Adding an elite prospect who can make an impact right away is huge. Or the Dubs just flip the pick or prospect for another established player.
