Everything you need to know for the 2020 Indianapolis 500

The Indy 500 runs on Sunday, August 23rd followed a delay due to Covid-19. We run through what you need to know for Sunday’s race.

AUTO: MAY 26 IndyCar Series - 103rd Indianapolis 500

The Indianapolis 500 is set to run on Sunday, August 23rd with the race getting underway at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The race traditionally runs on Memorial Day weekend, but the Covid-19 pandemic pushed it back to late August. Traditionally the events hosts over 300,000 people, but this year there will be no fans in attendance.

Current points leader Scott Dixon is the favorite to win the race at DraftKings Sportsbook, installed at +400. He’s followed by Marco Andretti and Alexander Rossi at +700, and then Ryan Hunter-Reay (+1100) and Josef Newgarden (+1200) to round out the top five.
