What to watch, how to watch in Week 0 of the 2020 college football season

It’s the shortest of shortest possible weeks, but for now, it looks like college football in the fall semester is going to happen.

In this space each week, we’ll give you the who, where, when, and place to watch each college football game every week.

It’s just that this week, that’s a short list.

August 29th 9:00 p.m. ESPN3 Austin Peay Central Arkansas -4 43.5 155/-195

There’s just one game on the board, but for college football fans it will be manna from the heavens after 227 days without The Best Sport. The Austin Peay Governors took home a share of the Ohio Valley Conference title last season, and the Central Arkansas Bears got half of the Southland trophy. Both made the FCS Playoffs, with Austin Peay winning a pair before falling out in the quarterfinals. Central Arkansas got a first-round bye, but got dropped at home by Illinois State 24-14 in an upset in the Round of 16.

And for Central, it will be a very quick turnaround: They also lead off Week 1 at UAB on Thursday, September 3rd at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN.
