The Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat start their second-round series on Monday with Game 1 at 6:30 p.m. ET. The Heat won the regular-season series and many believe Miami will give the No. 1 seed a run for their title hopes in this series. Both teams had an easy time in the first round, so we should expect things to tighten up in Round 2. Let’s go over some DraftKings Showdown picks to help you build your lineup.
Set your DraftKings lineup here.
Goran Dragic ($12,300)
You could argue Dragic was the best player for the Heat in the first round. At least the most consistent. Jimmy Butler got banged up and left Game 4. Bam Adebayo struggled a bit to score. Things won’t get easier on Bam going up against Giannis Antetokounmpo. I think that opens things up for Dragic to continue to put up big numbers. He had at least 31.75 DKFP in each of the four games vs. the Pacers. We can get some leverage and savings on Dragic at Captain while maintaining a decent ceiling.
Fade of the Game
Duncan Robinson ($6,000)
Robinson started in the first round in the back court but wasn’t much of a factor outside of that one historic shooting performance. Sure, Robinson is capable of filling it up but I don’t know how much he plays in crunch time vs. the Bucks. He’s more of a liability on defense, so we should see more Andre Iguodala and Tyler Herro has been better and getting more playing time.
George Hill ($5,000) — I don’t envision this series starting like the Celtics-Raptors one. If this game is close, the veterans will get their run. Hill can fill it up from 3 and should see around 20 minutes. The price isn’t as good as Iggy’s, but there won’t be many ways to find good value in this contest.
Andre Iguodala ($3,400) — Iggy seems really underpriced in this contest. He isn’t the same player but he’s going to make an impact and Miami is going to use him on defense to slow down Khris Middleton. Iguodala was consistently playing around 25-28 minutes per game. He’s a great passer, a good defender and is usually good for a 3-pointer or two when he’s hot.
