The San Francisco Giants and Colorado Rockies will play Tuesday at 8:40 p.m. ET. Giants righty Kevin Gausman will face fellow righty German Marquez in Colorado. We break down the ideal lineup strategy below, and you can play here.

Captain’s Picks

Daniel Murphy, OF, Rockies: $10,500

When looking at these two pitchers, German Marquez has been much better than Kevin Gausman and is worth a GPP play, but Marquez has yet to pitch at home and you know what happens in the thin air in the mountains. But, I rather stack Rockies hitters and they aren’t cheap. That leads me to Murphy, who has gotten hot now that he’s back in Colorado. There are a lot of guys worth throwing out there against Gausman, who has been hit hard by both lefties and righties in his career.

Utility Picks

Mike Yastrzemski, OF, Giants: $10,400

Yastrzemski has been the Giants top hitter this season. He had his worst game of the year against Texas before heading to Colorado, where he quickly turned things around with a two-run homer.

Matt Kemp, OF, Rockies: $4,000

I’d rather have Kemp against a lefty, but he’s been hot lately and doing his usual in Colorado. It doesn’t take much to hit value at Kemp’s price and with 9, 18, 19 and 7 DK points in his last four, he’s giving us value.

Sam Hilliard, OF, Rockies: $6,600

Hilliard has gotten off to a rocky start, but his numbers against righties are hard to pass on at his price. In his short time in the majors, he’s hitting a .351 ISO, .610 SLG and .383 wOBA against righties and if he gets the start in Colorado against Gausman, I’m playing him.
