The Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals will face off in a Madden sim Thursday at 4:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings before kickoff.
Captain’s Picks
The Colts have had a surprisingly productive offense this sim season. The duo of Jacoby Brissett ($16,200) and T.Y. Hilton ($14,700) have been their most productive players and are the best captain’s candidates for this matchup. Brissett is among the league leaders when it comes to his passing volume, and his touchdown numbers reflect that. Hilton is one of the most elusive wideouts in Madden and has a good chance to torch Cincinnati’s defensive backs if he gets the ball often enough. The Bengals have a ton of wild cards that don’t show up consistently, so it’s probably best to stay away from them here.
Flex Men
Eric Ebron ($7,200) gets a ton of targets and is Brissett’s second favorite target. He’s been just as productive as any Bengals wideout and has a high floor thanks to his consistent reception numbers. I’m not high on A.J. Green but Tyler Boyd ($8,600) and John Ross ($5,600) give you plenty of value at receiver. Giovanni Bernard ($4,800) and Nyheim Hines ($3,200) are appealing running back plays, as the starters for each don’t typically produce at a high level.
