The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago White Sox will play Wednesday at 8:10 p.m. ET. Righty Josh Lindblom will face lefty Gio Gonzalez. DraftKings will have Showdown DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal lineup strategy below, and you can play here.
Captain’s Pick
Luis Robert, OF, White Sox: $11,700
Robert has been on fire this season, hitting safely in all but one game. He has nine hits in his last five and three stolen bases in his last three appearances. So far this season he’s hit righties for a .433 wOBA, .243 ISO, 595 SLG and the list goes on. It’s of course a small sample size, but he already has 41 plate appearances against righties this year. He’s getting the job done.
Utility Picks
Manny Pina, C, Brewers: $4,000
Gio Gonzalez hasn’t been able to get into the fourth inning of his first two starts. I prefer him over Lindblom based on their history, and I’ll mostly be stacking White Sox hitters, but he’s not sharp right now. The good news is that Pina is a lefty smasher when given a chance. Last season in limited work, he had a .390 wOBA and .234 ISO against southpaws. If he gets the start, I’ll be happy for the savings.
Yoan Moncada, 3B, White Sox: $8,200
The Brewers Josh Lindblom has awful stats against lefties, allowing a .366 wOBA and a 1.30 HR/9 while striking out just 6.65 K/9. The switch hitting Moncada has been raking from the left side this year with a .413 wOBA and two homers. He also has eight hits in his last 22 at bats.
Eloy Jimenez, OF, White Sox: $6,400
The righty Jimenez is also hitting righties well this season, as he sports a .519 wOBA, .407 ISO and 1.266 OPS against his same sided opponents. Adding in last season stats doesn’t hurt his outlook much, as he has a .356 wOBA and .275 ISO against righties in his last 386 plate appearances.
