It’s a pair of middleweights looking to leave the preliminary card of non-PPV’s behind on Saturday as Andrew Sanchez faces Wellington Turman at UFC Fight Night live on ESPN+ from Las Vegas.

Sanchez is the more experienced fighter at 11-5 and 4-3 in the UFC, but enters as the underdog. The Tristar Gym member from St. Louis had seven career stoppages before joining the promotion, but only decision wins in the UFC. He lands 4.49 significant strikes a minute in the octagon and 2.25 takedowns per full match, but also gets hit a lot at 4.92 strikes absorbed.

Turman is 16-3 overall and 1-1 via two decisions in the UFC. The Brazilian is a mat-based specialist that will want to take the fight to the floor, and has six takedowns in his 30 minutes in a UFC cage. The 24-year-old has yet to be stopped in his MMA career, and hasn’t fought since his win over Markus Perez in November of last year.
