Jarrett Allen, Joe Harris available to play Friday vs. Kings [UPDATE]

The Nets will have a pretty healthy rotation of players against Sacramento. Should you still play Caris LeVert? We take a look.

UPDATE: Aug. 7, 3:07 p.m.Allen and Harris are both available to play Friday vs. the Kings.

So the Nets will have all of Allen, Harris and LeVert against the Kings, who may be without both Richaun Holmes and Kent Bazemore. Things are shifting a bit in this game. Allen ($6,300) looks like a really good leverage play in tournaments and cash games. If he plays a full workload, his ownership should be suppressed because of the Q tag next to him. Harris isn’t a bad play in this game environment either, but strictly GPPs.

The spread is still +5 for the Nets, so I like that number if you can get it now. This game should be close anyway and we may get news that Holmes and/or Baze are sidelined. This would make it more of an even pick ‘em in my mind if Harris and Allen play enough minutes.

Brooklyn Nets C Jarrett Allen and G Joe Harris are both questionable to play in Friday’s game vs. the Sacramento Kings.

Allen, Harris and SG Caris LeVert all returned to the lineup on Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics. That game did not result in anything good for Brooklyn. Nothing like the Nets’ big win over the Milwaukee Bucks from Tuesday. Now, it’s looking like Harris and Allen could be out again against the Kings. Let’s look at the impact.

Fantasy basketball impact

With all three sidelined against the Bucks, we saw some interesting players step up. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Garrett Temple led the way, while Rodions Kurucs started in the front court for Allen. LeVert is expected to play, so he will be a chalky option depending on his price on DraftKings. TLC and Temple aren’t bad pivots, with the former being able to shoot the lights out and get hot. Sacramento doesn’t play much defense, so there will be plenty of scoring opportunities on both sides.
