The Houston Astros and Oakland A’s will play Saturday at 4:10 p.m. ET. Lefty Framber Valdez will face righty Frankie Montas. DraftKings will have Showdown DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal lineup strategy below, and you can play here.

Captain’s Picks

Carlos Correa, SS, Astros: $10,500

The righty Correa has a .459 OBP against righties so far this season and in his career has shown slightly more power against same sided pitchers. He’s 4-for-8 against Montas in his career, including a home run against him. Montas has pitched well this season, but his control remains poor and he can get into jams quickly.

Matt Olson, 1B, Athletics: $12,000

Olson has been in a big slump to start the season, but broke out in a big way with three homers in his last two games. The lefty should have a good shot against Montas, who is much better against righties in his career.

Utility Picks

Josh Reddick, OF, Astros: $5,600

Frankie Montas has awful splits against lefties, who have hit him for a .351 wOBA and a 1.24 HR/9 in his career. The lefty Reddick has hit righties well this season with a .392 wOBA and .598 slugging percentage.

Ramon Laureno, OF, Athletics: $9,400

Laureno hits lefties well, sporting a .365 wOBA and .241 ISO over his last 148 plate appearances against same-sided pitchers. He has two homers in his last five games and a .521 OBP at home so far this season.
