Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen now listed as probable Sunday vs. Clippers [UPDATE]

UPDATE: Allen, LeVert and Harris are all probable now vs. the Clippers. Would seem that all three will play, though I’d be careful with this game.

The Brooklyn Nets are taking an early NBA bubble victory lap by potentially holding out more players Sunday vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. Jarrett Allen, Joe Harris and Caris LeVert are all listed as doubtful to play to close out the weekend vs. L.A. Allen and Harris returned to the lineup against the Sacramento Kings on Friday after being held out. LeVert (rest) will just get a game off after dominating SacTown.

Fantasy basketball and betting impact

At this point who knows how many minutes or who will be playing on any given day for any given team. Teams are resting guys, preparing for the playoffs and what have you. The Nets are most likely going to keep all three of these guys out Sunday vs. the Clippers. If that’s the case, it’s the same deal as the game against the Bucks. We should see a lot of Garrett Temple and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot. Rodions Kurucs should start in place of Allen at center.

The Clippers just pulled off a surprising win over the Blazers on Saturday without Kawhi Leonard. He’s expected to be back, but who knows if we see other Clippers regulars rest as a result. The Nets have won three of five games in the bubble and aren’t a complete joke, so TLC and Temple are viable options despite the tough matchup. Tyler Johnson isn’t a bad option depending on the price. Really, the Nets will offer good value for GPPs.

It’s too early to tell on the betting side. We saw the Nets as 18.5 points underdogs against the Bucks without this trio and Brooklyn ended up winning. So really, anything can happen. If the line is insane like that game, the Nets may get bet so much the spread shrinks.
