The Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets will face off in the second round of the 2020 NBA Playoffs out of the Western Conference. The Clippers advance as the No. 2 seed after taking down Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. It wasn’t easy but ultimately injuries were too much for Dallas to overcome. The Clippers stepped up the physical play and were able to advance thanks to Killer Kawhi Leonard in Game 6. Paul George even figured out how to score the ball by the end of the series, which is a great sign.
The Nuggets looked like they were going to falter and lose to the lower-seeded Jazz. After going down 3-1 in the series, the Nuggets rallied back into the series behind Jamal Murray, who has had a coming out party these playoffs. Murray struggled in Games 2 and 3, but other than that, has been the hottest shooter on the planet. He ended up scoring at least 42 points in three of seven games in the series.
