Two welterweights in need of a win face off at UFC Vegas 10 on Saturday as Bryan Barberena takes on Anthony Ivy on the preliminary card Saturday night from the Apex facility.

Barberena is 14-7 in MMA, and 5-5 in the UFC having lost his last two bouts. It’s been over a year since he’s stepped in the octagon, but the Minneapolis native is quite active with 5.65 significant strikes per minute in his promotion career. The 33-year-old wins on his feet, with 10 KO/TKO’s and two submissions on his resume, and his taking 5.00 strikes per minute means he isn’t afraid to let his fists fly.

Ivy lost his UFC debut to Christian Aguliera by getting knocked out in just 59 seconds on June 13th of this year. The former Fury FC and World Extreme Cagefighting participant is 8-3 career with all victories by stoppage, five by KO and three by submission. “Aquaman” fights out of Brazilian Top Team in San Antonio, and at age 30 should have a small reach advantage on his opponent at 6’2, with Barberena listed at 6’0.

Here are the betting odds at DraftKings Sportsbook for Bryan Barberena vs. Anthony Ivy at UFC Fight Night on September 12th.
