How to handle Bryan Edwards, Nelson Agholor injuries in Week 1 fantasy football

Bryan Edwards and Nelson Agholor appear to be ready to play on Sunday as the Eagles showcase a revamped wide receiver corps.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receivers Nelson Agholor and Bryan Edwards were not listed on the Friday injury report. Agholor had been dealing with a groin injury but was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Edwards practiced all three days as well, as he battles a knee injury.

It will be interesting to see how the Raiders divide targets to their wide receivers with plenty of new faces for Derek Carr. Agholor is coming in after five years with the Philadelphia Eagles, while Edwards was drafted in the third round of the NFL Draft from South Carolina. In addition, the team added Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs with the 12th overall pick.

Who will get the targets in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers? That’s anyone’s guess.

Fantasy impact: Agholor and Edwards are highly likely to see the field on Sunday, but neither have a reason to be relevant for fantasy purposes. The Raiders’ receiving corps is a tricky one to figure out right now and until we see a bit of a sample size on who is receiving the targets, fantasy owners should wait for more clarity.
