The top Week 1 picks in the DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship

We’ve got a look at the most and least popular Week 1 picks for the DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship.

The 2020 NFL season is underway, and that means the DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship has one game under its belt! The Chiefs beat the Texans 34-20 in Thursday’s season-opener, covering the 9.5 point spread. 3.34 percent of entrants picked the Chiefs to cover, while 3.92 percent of entrants picked the Texans to cover.

The contest runs through Week 16 and requires entrants pick five games per week against the spread. They can skip two weeks during the 16-week schedule as byes, but otherwise, they’re making five picks per week. The lines are set on Wednesday and remains static until the games kick off.

The Chiefs and Texans were the two lowest pick totals this week, and Thursday likely will remain on the lighter end moving forward.

The most popular pick in Week 1 as of this article publishing is the Panthers. They are 3.5-point underdogs against the Raiders in the contest, and 27.43 percent of entrants jumped on them to cover. The Patriots are the next most popular pick, with 22.79 percent of cards including them to cover -6.5 against the Dolphins. The Titans to cover -2.5 against the Broncos is right behind the Patriots, at 22.06 percent.

There are a few matchups with strong opinions on both sides. The Ravens are 7.5-point home favorites against the Browns, and at the moment, 13.06 percent of entries include the Ravens while 12.19 percent include the Browns. Down south, the Seahawks are 1.5-point road favorites against the Falcons in the contest, and right now 10.6 percent of cards include the Seahawks while 12.92 percent include the Falcons. The evening ends with a close one for Sunday Night Football. 13.21 percent of cards have the Cowboys at -2.5, while 11.76 percent have the Rams at +2.5
