What A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, John Ross did in Week 2 fantasy football

A.J. Green should continue to be the Bengals’ top receiving option in Week 2.

Stats update: The Bengals lost 35-30, and while their passing attack was prolific, it was spread out quite a bit. Tyler Boyd caught seven receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. A.J. Green had three receptions for 29 yards and Joe Ross grabbed nothing on two targets. Tight ends and running backs got the bulk of the looks.

A.J. Green missed all of 2019 with an ankle injury and made his first start for the Cincinnati Bengals since December of 2018 on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The seven-time Pro Bowler led his team in targets (9) in Week 1 and will look to be heavily involved against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 on Thursday. We’ll go over how his fantasy football potential matches up against Tyler Boyd and John Ross here.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Bengals WRs A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, John Ross

Green leads the Browns in receptions (5) and receiving yards (51). He had a touchdown called back because of an offensive pass interference call. I like his odds of getting some momentum against a Browns team that forked up 101 passing yards to the speedy Marquise Brown in Week 1.

Tyler Boyd notched four receptions for 33 yards on five targets while John Ross tallied two receptions for 17 yards on five receptions. Ross could’ve had a touchdown pass, but lost the ball while tracking it into the end zone. Ross has tons of big-play potential because of his lightning speed, but I like Boyd because of his better pass catching.

Start/Sit Recommendation

Green is the best wideout play in this group. He and Boyd are worth starting against Baltimore, but I’d stay away from Ross.
