The Las Vegas Raiders rookie receiver Henry Ruggs did not practice on Thursday after injuring his knee against the Panthers on Sunday. Ruggs was able to play through his knee injury and the Raiders play the Saints on Monday night, giving them an extra day of rest.
Ruggs was able to catch 3-of-5 targets for 55 yards on Sunday and looked the part of a playmaker. Hopefully, Ruggs is getting an extra day to heal and will return to practice on Friday and Saturday, but if he doesn’t, the Raiders will be very thin at wide receiver.
Las Vegas is already missing Tyrell Williams, and if Ruggs can’t go, they’ll be down their top two starters. That would leaver rookie Bryan Edwards, Hunter Renfrow and Nelson Agholor to matchup against a tough Saints defense.
