UPDATE: The Bengals have quickly ruled Uzomah OUT with an Achilles injury.

The Cincinnati Bengals offense is hit-or-miss in Week 2, and they have lost a key pass catcher in the fourth quarter against the Cleveland Browns. Tight end C.J. Uzomah caught a five-yard pass with 8:53 remaining in the quarter and after he was tackled, it was clear he was in serious pain.

Uzomah slammed the ground and eventually was helped onto a cart to get off the field. He was reaching for his knee and it’s being described generally as a lower leg injury. The Bengals reserve tight ends are Drew Sample and Cethan Carter. Uzomah left the game with four receptions on six targets for 42 yards and a touchdown.
