In a battle of two welterweights, undefeated Miguel Baeza will take on Jeremiah Wells as the last preliminary fight for UFC Vegas 11 this Saturday live at Las Vegas’ UFC Apex and on ESPN+.
Baeza isn’t the most experienced UFC fighter, but the 28-year-old is entering the bout without a loss. 9-0 in his UFC career, “Caramel Thunder” has seven knockouts or TKO’s to his name. Having fought in Dana White’s Contender Series, Baeza is slowly making a name for himself.
Neither Baeza nor Wells will enter ranked within the top-15 welterweight fighters. They’ll both be looking up to the night’s top two bouts with a few of the best in their class going at it.
Jeremiah Wells will enter the octagon with a 8-2-1 record and riding a two-match win streak. A well-rounded fighter, the 5-foot-9, 33-year-old doesn’t have a favorite win style as he has three KO/TKOs and three submissions. His only losses have by decision, so Wells has put together a strong and consistent career.
Baeza will have much more to lose as the two enter the octagon, and they should produce one of the more thrilling fights of the night.
