Two 115 lbs. women will get in the cage when Mayra Bueno Silva vs. Mara Romero Borella fight at UFC Vegas 11 this Saturday from Las Vegas’ UFC Apex and live on ESPN+.
Silva is 6-1 with three of her victories coming via submission. She lands 4.87 strikes per minutes with 54% accuracy, but absorbs 7.26. She lost her only fight since 2018, didn’t compete in 2019, and lost via unanimous decision to Maryna Moroz in March.
Borella has an 11-8 record and only lands 2.54 strikes per minute with 37 percent accuracy in her UFC bouts. Better than Silva on the ground, she averages 1.66 takedowns per 15 minutes in her career. She has a mixed bag of finishes as well with eight of her wins being submissions or decisions, and three knockouts as well. At 34, Borella will enter the cage while five years older than Silva.
